A production cel from the Walt Disney Studios animated short “Wynken, Blynken and Nod” (1938). Featuring all three of the main characters, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the cartoon. The character cel was trimmed to image, applied to a blank cel layer, and paired with a custom painted reproduction background. Measuring 11”x14.25” overall, with the trimmed to image characters measuring 2.25”x3.5”, the cel is in very good condition with slight curling to the edges of the cel and minimal edge wear on the overall setup.
